NULinks is a service to provide you direct access to Northeastern University websites in the form of a go-links style service in the form of either a browser extension, or a webpage. This service is provided to you by the project's open source contributors on GitHub and the primary maintainer, Kevin Johnson. Note that this service is unofficial and run by student contributors. Northeastern University does not endorse this website.

This service does not collect information from it's users. The entire program runs offline in your browser, either as a browser extension or as a website. Other than to download the program's code when you install the extension or load the webpage, this program makes no requests to any services. This site does not load any ad or analytics services or website trackers of any kind.

This service does not collect your Northeastern username or password. The way that Northeastern websites are designed, this website can direct your browser to the intended page, without knowing if you are signed in or not. The Northeastern website will then automatically redirect you to a login page if necessary. This way, the NULinks program never receives your login information or even knows if you are logged in or not.

Through the virtue of being hosted on the Chrome Web Store (for the extension) and AWS (for the website), some basic demographic information will be collected by those platforms, over which I have no control. This information is collected when you load the site (for the website), or when you install or uninstall the browser extension (for the extension). This information includes your operating system, device type, web browser, and country. For transparency, I have included screenshots of these pages below so you may see what type of information is collected.
